Fresno Works represents a unified effort to bring the California High Speed Rail Authority’s heavy maintenance facility to Fresno County.
The California High Speed Rail Authority will place its heavy maintenance facility somewhere in the Central Valley, where its trains will be commissioned, tested, inspected and maintained.
With your support, the Heavy Maintenance Facility will bring up to 2,300 new jobs to Fresno County.
The high speed train system will require a relatively straight 110-mile track to test trains commissioned at the heavy maintenance facility. Fresno is the only community at the north end of a prime test track location.
