Fresno Works Video Contest - EXTENDED
Submissions Due Wednesday, October 6 at 11:59PM
VIDEO CONTEST RULES
The High Speed Train will soon connect Californians to each other in a way never thought possible. We’ll be able to travel up and down the State in half the time we now spend driving. Excited? So are we. But how excited are you really?! Create a video expressing your enthusiasm for the High Speed Train. The Grand Prize winner will receive $2,012 in prize money. (After all, the California High Speed Rail Authority plans on beginning construction on the system in 2012. But we digress…) Second and Third Place winners will each receive a Flip Camera. So get out your cameras, cell phones or whatever you use and start filming!
Create a video, 60 seconds or less, with the theme “I Want My High Speed Train!” Your video must demonstrate enthusiasm for High Speed Train in Fresno County and absolutely must be family friendly. For the rest of our do’s and don’ts, read our Terms of Agreement.

Upload your video to YouTube. Make sure you name the file “Fresno Works First Name Last Name Date” (For example, if Albert Rodriguez submits his video on September 15, 2010, he would name his file “Fresno Works Albert Rodriguez 9.15.10”)

All submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. on September 30, 2010.

  • A Fresno Works judging panel will select the top ten videos and post them at FresnoWorks.org on October 6, 2010. The public voting period will then take place from October 7 – October 21, 2010. Tell your friends and family to be sure to vote.
  • The three videos with the most votes will then be taken to the EDC Annual Event on October 28, 2010 for a final round of text voting.
